Manufacturing Process Engineer
Take the glove from prototype to volume. Own the processes that keep precision assembly repeatable, yield high, and the line shippable.
What you'll do
- Drive process improvements that reduce cycle time and improve first-pass yield across glove builds.
- Implement statistical process control for sealing, sensor bonding, and assembly tolerances.
- Design and build production tooling and fixtures that enforce repeatability across operators.
- Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and control plans that supervisors can train against.
- Own process definition through NPI: prototype, validation units, production ramp.
- Serve as the technical bridge between design engineering, assembly, and quality.
What we're looking for
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in manufacturing engineering for precision mechanical or electromechanical assemblies.
- Hands-on production support: ramp, yield improvement, issue resolution on the floor.
- Experience with PFMEA, control plans, and process validation.
- Comfort designing fixtures that improve repeatability and operator ergonomics.
Nice to have
- Experience with adhesive bonding, surface treatment, or sealing processes.
- Background in safety-critical or load-bearing assemblies.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification.
