Simulation Engineer
Lead thermal and structural simulation for the glove. Catch issues in models before they cost a rebuild.
What you'll do
- Build and validate thermal models for sensors, batteries, and enclosures.
- Develop structural FEA models for stress, fatigue, and stiffness under repeated wear.
- Correlate simulations with bench test data and improve model fidelity.
- Run DOE and sensitivity studies that inform mechanical design decisions.
- Support design reviews with clear technical reports and visualizations.
- Automate simulation workflows where it saves real time.
What we're looking for
- BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
- 5+ years in thermal, structural, or dynamics simulation.
- FEA/CFD proficiency (ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, or similar).
- Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, materials, and mechanics.
- Scripting in Python or MATLAB for automation and post-processing.
