System Integration Engineer
Lead system integration across sensors, embedded compute, firmware, and the parsing cloud. The role owns end-to-end platform behavior and the interfaces between its subsystems.
What you'll do
- Define and maintain system architecture and interfaces across hardware, firmware, and cloud components.
- Bring up new builds end to end, from sensors and embedded controllers to networking and the parsing backend.
- Debug issues spanning electronics, firmware, OS, networking, and application layers.
- Build integration tooling and automated tests that catch regressions before release.
- Manage configuration, versioning, and traceability across system components.
- Provide manufacturing and field teams with clear build instructions and troubleshooting documentation.
What we're looking for
- BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in systems integration for robotics, autonomous systems, or complex electromechanical products.
- Strong debugging skills across oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and software tools.
- Linux comfortable. Strong in shell scripting and Python or C++.
- Familiarity with embedded buses: CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet.
Nice to have
- CI/CD for hardware-in-the-loop test automation.
- Networking and distributed-systems fundamentals.
- Experience authoring interface specifications used by cross-functional teams.
