Test Engineer, R&D
Make sure the glove works the same on hand #1 and hand #10,000. Own the test rigs, the test plans, and the data that proves it.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain test automation frameworks in Python and C++.
- Architect hardware-in-the-loop rigs that simulate real-world hand motion and contact.
- Author test plans, procedures, and matrices that cover hardware, firmware, and software configurations.
- Produce data-driven test reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain traceability from system requirements through test execution and results.
- Lead root-cause analysis on multidisciplinary issues that span the stack.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in test engineering, systems integration, or a related role.
- Strong Python and/or C++.
- Hands-on with scopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies.
- Solid grasp of embedded systems and protocols (CAN, I2C, SPI).
- Git fluency; methodical, data-driven debugging.
Nice to have
- Test automation frameworks for embedded systems.
- RTOS or Linux at the kernel/driver level.
- CAD for designing test fixtures.
