Test Engineer, R&D
Own test engineering for the Ditto glove, including hardware-in-the-loop rigs, test plans, and data analysis that verify performance from prototype through production.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain test automation frameworks in Python and C++.
- Architect hardware-in-the-loop rigs that simulate real-world hand motion and contact.
- Author test plans, procedures, and matrices covering hardware, firmware, and software configurations.
- Produce test reports suited to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain traceability from system requirements through test execution and results.
- Lead root-cause analysis on multidisciplinary issues that span the stack.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in test engineering, systems integration, or a related role.
- Strong Python and/or C++.
- Hands-on with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Solid grasp of embedded systems and protocols (CAN, I2C, SPI).
- Git fluency. Methodical, data-driven debugging.
Nice to have
- Test automation frameworks for embedded systems.
- RTOS or Linux at the kernel/driver level.
- CAD experience for test fixture design.
